Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.50 lbs CaraMalt; Beeston

    CaraMalt; Beeston

    Often used to give color and flavor to pale lagers.

  • 4.0 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 2.0 lbs Munich Liquid; Alexanders

    Munich Liquid; Alexanders

    Often used in belgian specialty ales, Dusseldorf Altbier, and Northern German Altbier.

  • 0.75 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 0.50 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.25 oz Centennial - 10.0 AA% whole; boiled 5 min

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 0.50 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; added dry to primary fermenter
