  • 6 lbs Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Reportedly lightest colored malt extract available.

  • .5 lbs Dry Light; Muntons

    Dry Light; Muntons

    Used as the base for a wide variety of styles of beers, including lager, pale ales, bitters, and export bitters. Contains no colored malts.

  • 2 oz Spalt Spalter - 4.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Spalt Spalter

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 1 oz Saaz - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • White Labs WLP800 Pilsner Lager

    White Labs WLP800 Pilsner Lager

    Classic pilsner strain from the premier pilsner producer in the Czech Republic. Somewhat dry with a malty finish, this yeast is best suited for European pilsner production.

Upon further review...

OK, for an extract brew, but the Spalter hops weren't "pilsnery-enoug" for me. Should have used Saaz troughout.
