Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.5 lbs English Chocolate Malt

    Dark malt that gives a rich red or brown color and nutty flavor. Use for: Brown ales, porters, some stouts Maintains some malty flavor, not as dark as roasted malt.

  • 0.5 lbs American Caramel 60°L

  • 4 lbs Dry Extra Light; Muntons

    Dry Extra Light; Muntons

    Contains no colored malts or unmalted products; the light color of this product is achieved by using low processing temperatures and low-colored raw materials.

  • 0.5 lbs Invert Sugar

    Invert Sugar

    Increases alcohol. Use in some Belgian or English ales. Made from sucrose & is 5-10% less fermentable than sucrose. Does not contain dextrins.

Excellent mild recipe

Brewed this for my Halloween party, and the keg was kicked. Great intro brew for non homebrewers, as it had hop flavor, but not too much. Very easy to drink, and not to powerful, so you can have a few.
