Ingredients (Partial Mash19 L)

  • 5 kg English 2-row Pale

    English 2-row Pale

    All English Ales. Workhorse of British Brewing. Infusion Mash.

  • .2 kg American Caramel 120°L

    American Caramel 120°L

    Provides color, a unique flavor, body, and contribures to foam retention and beer stability. Gives a pronounced to sharp caramel flavor and a deep red color.

  • .2 kg Crystal Malt 80°L

    Crystal Malt 80°L

    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • .25 kg Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Dry Wheat; Muntons

    Made with a preponderance of wheat malt (55%) for the production of wheat or Weiss beers. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • .5 kg Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Reportedly lightest colored malt extract available.

  • 28 g Cascade - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 30 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 28 g Centennial - 10.0 AA% whole; boiled 30 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 28 g Chinook - 13.0 AA% whole; boiled 30 min

    Chinook

    Spicy, Medium to Heavy.Very strong bittering ability used in all American ales and lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • 28 g Chinook Dry hop - (omitted from calculations)

  • White Labs WLP051 California Ale V

    White Labs WLP051 California Ale V

    From Northern California. This strain is more fruity than WLP001, and slightly more flocculant. Attenuation is lower, resulting in a fuller bodied beer than with WLP001.

Notes

A recipe in progress... First Wort Hop with 28 g of Amarillo whole hops. Maybe I'll get some cluster in there as well. :D
