Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • .5 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • .15 lbs English Chocolate Malt

    Dark malt that gives a rich red or brown color and nutty flavor. Use for: Brown ales, porters, some stouts Maintains some malty flavor, not as dark as roasted malt.

  • 8 lbs Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Reportedly lightest colored malt extract available.

  • 1.0 oz Nugget - 13.0 AA% whole; boiled 45 min

This turned out real nice.

A desire to brew on a Thursday night lead to this beer. Crushed a bunch of grain, added some extract and a good amount of hops to create this "special" brew. Not quite an ESB not really an American pale but a good beer. Enjoy, I will brew this again.
