Ingredients (All Grain10 gal)

  • 13.40 lbs American 6-row Pale

    American 6-row Pale

    Tends to increase lautering efficiency due to a stiffer husk. May be used as the base malt for any beer style. The enzymes in all varieties of the current crop are sufficient to support high percentages of specialty malts and adjuncts.

  • 1.78 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 1.77 lbs American Caramel 10°L

    American Caramel 10°L

    This malt is light in color with a sweet caramel flavor. It is a great malt for light lagers and ales.

  • 3.44 lbs English Amber Malt

Good overall

This brew was very stout. It finished a little bitter, but after drinking some of Sam Adam's porter, I thought mine was just as good. My alcohol content came out to be more like 7.2%
