Ingredients (Extract5 gal)

  • 0.15 lbs American Black Patent

    American Black Patent

    Provides color and sharp flavor in stouts and porters.

  • 0.15 lbs English Chocolate Malt

    English Chocolate Malt

    Dark malt that gives a rich red or brown color and nutty flavor. Use for: Brown ales, porters, some stouts Maintains some malty flavor, not as dark as roasted malt.

  • 5.5 lbs Dark; John Bull

    Dark; John Bull

    Colored using roasted malt to give a rich mocha flavor and aroma bringing individuality to mild, porter, and stout brews.

  • .80 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 1.4 oz Fuggle - 4.8 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

More of a ruby color that straight black, but it was delicious! Nice tan head and lacing, smooth drinking.
