  • 2 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 6 lbs Liquid Light Extract

    Liquid Light Extract

    A brewer can create any beer style with this extract when used as a base in conjunction with colored malts and selected hops. Contains no colored malts or hops.

  • 18 g (ea) wormwood and yarrow - (omitted from calculations)

    This yeast is famous for its clean flavors, balance and ability to be used in almost any style ale. It accentuates the hop flavors and is extremely versatile.

Notes

There are no hops added to this recipe because the bitterness will come from the herbs, mainly the yarrow. Hopefully it will come out iwth a bitterness about equal to 25 IBU's. The herbs should add an "extra" stimulating effect to the beer
