Belgian Golden Strong Ale • All Grain • 5.25 gal

This recipe is close to a Duvel. The frementation temps play a major part in Duvel. My information is that primary is 75 degrees for 5-6 days.

  • 12.62 lbs Belgian Pils

    Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 0.16 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 1.59 lbs Candi Sugar Clear

    Candi Sugar Clear

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • 1.1 oz Styrian Goldings - 6.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min
