Pale Rider
American Pale Ale • All Grain • 5 gal
My mash efficiency sucks. I'm working on it! Other than that this is a nice pale ale. Normally I've been jacking up the 2-row a couple extra #s to make up for it but decided not to this time. This brew was brewed while I was watching Clint in the movie of the same name. Otherwise this woulda been called the Poker Pale Ale as it is the beer on tap for my night to host this months card game. Definitely a nice session beer with a low alcohol volume. All my numbers match up to my Promash notes.

White Labs WLP005 British Ale
White Labs WLP005 British Ale
This yeast is a little more attenuative than WLP002. Like most English strains, this yeast produces malty beers. Excellent for all English style ales including bitter, pale ale, porter, and brown ale.

I had this, a brown ale and a steam beer on tap for the poker game. We polished off the Pale Rider! Luckily I brewed an amber that morning to replace it soon.
