  • 10 lbs Moravian Well-Modified Pale

    Suitable for ales or lagers. It can be used with a single temperature infusion mash schedule.

  • 1 lbs German Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • 1 lbs Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • 1/2 oz Tettnanger - 5.6 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Excellent, but won't win a contest

This beer was intended to be a Maibock, but the OG ended up too low. It would have been an excellent Bohemian Pilsner, but the color was too dark. It would have been a good Vienna, but it was a little light-colored for that. Incredibly good beer, but not a good fit for any style.
