Special B - Caramel malt; Dingemans
The darkest of the Belgian crystal malts, Dingemans Special B will impart a heavy caramel taste and is often credited with the raisin-like flavors of some Belgian Abbey ales. Larger percentages (greater than 5%) will contribute a dark brown-black color and fuller body.

Wheres the grapefruit

Hoppy and british. The Windsor yeast brewed with a slight fruitiness but there was little hop flavor or aroma. Was lost by the yeast overpowering the hops. Maybe a dry hop and definately a different yeast. Good color and clarity.

The beer is too dark for style, but combines nicely the flavor of the british yeast with the citrus of the hops. Not an over the top hoppy American IPA. Just a bold caramel citrus delight. It does take time to mature given the medium floc of the Windsor yeast.
