    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2 oz Hallertau - 3.9 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • 1 oz Spalt Spalter - 4.1 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Spalt Spalter

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 1 oz Spalt Spalter - 4.1 AA% whole; boiled 20 min

    Spalt Spalter

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • Wyeast 1272 American Ale II™

    Wyeast 1272 American Ale II™

    Fruitier and more flocculant than 1056, slightly nutty, soft, clean, slightly tart finish.

Notes

Lager hops w/ ale yeast. Strike temp 64C. 1hr. In addition to hops below added another 1z spalt to fermentor at chill.
