Pronounced caramel flavor and a red color. For stouts, porters and black beers.

White color, mild flavor. Will produce lagers and Pilseners and can also be used to produce darker beers when used in conjunction with colored malts. Made of pale malt.

Brewers Gold - 7.7 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

Sibling of and similar to Bullion only maturing earlier and more disease resistant. English/wild Canadian cross. Pungent English character. very poor

This yeast is famous for its clean flavors, balance and ability to be used in almost any style ale. It accentuates the hop flavors and is extremely versatile.
Notes
Partial mash kit from Alternative Beverage. Steeped the crystal at 154F for 30 minutes before adding extract. Boiled 6 gallons for 60 minutes. Cooled with wort chiller to 85F and aerated between two buckets about 5 times to cool and aerate. Starting gravity at 1.062
