A creamy blonde ale. Brewed in the same style as Leffe. Just racked this to secondary and it has a great flavor, very similar to Leffe.

Ingredients (Extract8 gal)

  • 3/4 lbs Belgian Pale

    Belgian Pale

    Fully modified and is easily converted.

  • 1/8 lbs Belgian Aromatic

    Belgian Aromatic

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

  • 11 lbs Dry Extra Light Extract

    Dry Extra Light Extract

    For making very pale ales and lagers.

  • 1 lbs Dry Amber; Muntons

    Dry Amber; Muntons

    Used predominantly in the production of medium-colored beers such as pale ales, IPAs, and bitters.

  • 3/4 lbs Candi Sugar Clear

    Candi Sugar Clear

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • 1.0 oz Target - 10.0 AA% pellets; boiled 45 min

    Used for its robust bittering ability in British ales and lagers. Aroma is quite intense.

  • 0.5 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.5 oz Willamette - 4.7 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy
