A principal ingredient of cask ales using heritage barleys.

  • 5.89 lbs Standard 6-Row; Rahr

    Standard 6-Row; Rahr

Mild grain malty flavor. Characteristics & Applications: • Base malt for all beer styles • More husk than 2-Row Brewers Malt making it well suited for high adjunct brewing. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 6-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • 0.08 lbs Crystal Malt 80°L

    Crystal Malt 80°L

Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • 0.58 lbs 2-Row Caramel Malt 10L; Briess

    2-Row Caramel Malt 10L; Briess

Golden color and a candy like sweetness. Characteristics & Applications: • In contrast to Brewers Malt, glassiness is a distinguishing characteristic of Caramel Malt. The glassy endosperm creates the desirable non-fermentable components giving true Caramel Malt the ability to contribute body (mouthfeel), foam foam retention, and extended beer stability, while contributing color and unique caramel flavor. • Caramel 10L is a roasted caramel malt that imparts golden color. • Use 3-7% for Pilsener-style beers for balance. • Use 5-15% to provide color, sweetness and color to light amber beers. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 2-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • 0.37 lbs Barley Flaked

    Barley Flaked

Helps head retention, imparts creamy smoothness. For porters and stouts.

  • 1.2 oz Amarillo® - 8.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Amarillo®

Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

  • BrewTek CL-690 California Gold

    BrewTek CL-690 California Gold

Use to recreate "California common beers". Leaves a slightly estery, well attenuated finish. The character of this yeast is quite distinct, try it in American or robust Porters for a unique flavor profile.
