Angel De La Muerte IPA

Angel De La Muerte IPA

Imperial IPA • All Grain • 5 gal

Angel De La Muerte

This is the first all grain beer that I have made. It is fermenting right now in primary, then it will go to secondary for a couple of weeks before bottles. And yes, I know that it says "Angel of the Death" but it just rolls off the tongue better that way!

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 14 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • White Labs WLP041 Pacific Ale

    White Labs WLP041 Pacific Ale

A popular ale yeast from the Pacific Northwest. The yeast will clear from the beer well, and leave a malty profile. More fruity than WLP002, English Ale Yeast. Good yeast for English style ales including milds, bitters, IPA, porters, and English style stouts.
