Ingredients (All Grain10 gal)

  • 20 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs Belgian Biscuit

    Belgian Biscuit

    Warm baked biscuit flavor and aroma. Increases body. Use in Belgian beers.

  • 1 lbs American Caramel 120°L

    American Caramel 120°L

    Provides color, a unique flavor, body, and contribures to foam retention and beer stability. Gives a pronounced to sharp caramel flavor and a deep red color.

  • 1 oz Saaz - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.

  • 1.5 oz Hallertau - 5.2 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

    Hallertau

    Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • 2 oz Hersbrucker - 2.5 AA% whole; boiled 20 min

    Hersbrucker

    Drier, spicier than Hallertauer. Most important aroma variety in Germany.

  • Wyeast 2278 Czech Pils™

    Wyeast 2278 Czech Pils™

    Classic pilsner strain from the home of pilsners for a dry, but malty finish. The perfect choice for pilsners and bock beers. Sulfur produced during fermentation dissipates with conditioning.

Nice and Hoppy w/ deep red Color. Not a Sam

Good beer. The dry hopping gave a great hop flavor and nose, but wrong hop to match a Sam. Body dried out in bottle. More like an IPA.
