Standard American Lager • All Grain • 5 gal

Single infusion mash @ 152 for 60 minutes with 3 gal water (strike @ 164), mashed out @ 180 with 5.5 gal water, added 2 whole limes ( cut in half) 15 minutes of boil. 90 minute boil total.

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 3.50 lbs German 2-row Pils

    German 2-row Pils

  • 0.11 lbs Dextrine Malt

    Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • 0.25 lbs Honey Malt

    Honey Malt

    Nutty honey flavor. For brown ales, Belgian wheats, bocks and many other styles.

  • 0.25 lbs English 2-row Vienna

  • 1.36 lbs Corn Flaked (Maize)
