Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 7 1/4 lbs Belgian Pale

    Belgian Pale

    Fully modified and is easily converted.

  • 2 1/4 lbs German Smoked

    German Smoked

    Earthy, rich smoke flavor

  • 3/16 lbs Belgian Munich

    Belgian Munich

    Used to increase malt aroma and body with slightly more color.

  • 9/16 lbs Light Brown Sugar

    Light Brown Sugar

    Imparts rich, sweet flavor. Use in Scottish ales, old ales and holiday beers.

  • 1/8 lbs Honey

    Honey

    Imparts sweet and dry taste. For honey and brown ales. Also: specialty ales.

  • 3/8 oz Cluster - 7.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Cluster

    Used for bittering and flavor qualities in light and dark American lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • 1/2 oz Brewers Gold - 9.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Sibling of and similar to Bullion only maturing earlier and more disease resistant. English/wild Canadian cross. Pungent English character. very poor

  • 1/2 oz Liberty - 4.0 AA% whole; boiled 1 min

    Liberty

    Used mainly for finishing German and American style ales and lagers. Aroma is mild and pleasant.

  • Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.
