  • 18 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2 lbs Crystal Malt 120°L

    Crystal Malt 120°L

    Pronounced caramel flavor and a red color. For stouts, porters and black beers.

  • 2 lbs Belgian Aromatic

    Belgian Aromatic

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

  • 1 oz Hallertauer Mittelfrüher - 5.2 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Fine, 'Noble'.

  • 1 oz Czech Saaz - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Very mild. 'Noble'.

  • 1 oz Hallertauer Hersbrucker - 2.5 AA% pellets; boiled 20 min

    Mild to strong. 'Noble'.

Nice and malty with tones of toast. Very clear. One of the best beers I have ever made. Doesn't match style for color or alcohol. Probably closer to a California Common, but even then its to much alcohol.

See Kriegster Whim. Even more hop in the Bitter and flavor. Dry hopping with Hallertau Hersbrucker.
