This was a bag of ingredients that JW gave me because he was not able to brew. I'm guessing it was intended to be a lot like the Celebration clone he'd brewed previously.

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 11 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs American Munich

    American Munich

    Munich Dunkels. Adds color/nutty flavor. Sometimes called Aromatic.

  • 1 lbs American Vienna

    American Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • 0.5 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 0.7 oz Chinook - 11.4 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Chinook

    Spicy, Medium to Heavy.Very strong bittering ability used in all American ales and lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • 0.50 oz Centennial - 8.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Centennial

    Aromatic but acceptable for bittering. Medium aroma with floral and citrus tones. Good in medium to dark ales.

  • 0.50 oz Willamette - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Willamette

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy

  • Wyeast 1056 American Ale™

    Wyeast 1056 American Ale™

    Used commercially for several classic American ales. This strain ferments dry, finishes soft, smooth and dean, and is very well balanced.
