This beer is close as i can come to copying St. pauli girl dark. It has tan head, I think it is very ballanced

  • 8 lbs German 2-row Pils

    German 2-row Pils

  • 1/4 lbs German Light Munich

    German Light Munich

    For a desired malty, nutty flavor. Lagers, Oktoberfests and bock beer.

  • .5 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 1/3 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • .5 oz Northern Brewer - 7.0 AA% pellets; boiled 90 min

    Northern Brewer

    Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

  • 1/4 oz Mt. Hood - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min
