Highly flocculant top-fermenting strain with rich, malty character and balanced fruitiness. This strain is so flocculant that additional aeration and agitation is needed. An excellent strain for cask-conditioned ales.

No flavor

Although the English yeast helped with some flavor, the hops (homegrown sterling) added very little. Next time, add some rye and try a new hop, maybe saaz, or brambling cross. Could have finished dryer, too, just a little.
