    Maris Otter Pale

An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. Dubbel Trouble

pretty good, but not perfect

i brewed this, and am enjoying it. it is smooth, and has about the right amount of lingering hop bitterness for me. however, it has a bit too much of a roasted taste for what i was looking for. next time i plan on using 0.75 lbs of Crystal 60L in place of the 80L that i used this time.
