Ingredients (All Grain5.53 gal)

  • 5 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2 lbs German Vienna

    German Vienna

    Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

  • .5 lbs Belgian Caravienne

    Belgian Caravienne

    Belgian light crystal malt. Used in lighter Abbey or Trappist style ales.

  • 1 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • .25 oz Warrior® - 15.4 AA% pellets; boiled 65 min

    Warrior®

    New hop with much potential. Very stable.

  • .25 oz East Kent Goldings - 5.4 AA% pellets; boiled 20 min

    Mild, slightly flowery.

I took 3rd place with this recipe in the Blue Ridge Brew Off in the light hybrid catagorie. I was pretty pleased with that. :)
