Ingredients (All Grain36 L)

  • 9 kg Maris Otter Pale

    Maris Otter Pale

    An English thoroughbred and a favored choice of malt for many brewers. Simpsons' Maris Otter has a rich and nutty flavor and despite its small, berry size has a strong husk. This malt delivers predictable brewhouse performance with modest, yet consistent extracts. Brewers can expect good runoffs with clear wort.

  • 0.25 kg Melanoidin Malt

    Melanoidin Malt

    Red Ales

  • 2.5 kg English Wheat Malt

    English Wheat Malt

    Light flavor, creamy head. For wheat beers, stouts, doppelbocks and alt beers.

  • 200 g Challenger - 6.8 AA% whole; boiled 90 min

    Challenger

    Popular bittering hop used primarily in British ales and lagers. Mild to moderate aroma, but quite spicy.

  • 84 g Goldings - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Goldings

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • 84 g Styrian Goldings - 3.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Styrian Goldings

    Mild, pleasant.

  • 84 g Saaz - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 15 min

    Saaz

    Used for finishing pilseners, continental lagers, and wheats. The aroma is spicy and pleasant with fragrant overtones.
