Ingredients (All Grain7 gal)

  • 9 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 3.75 lbs German Smoked

    German Smoked

    Earthy, rich smoke flavor

  • 1.75 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • 1.1875 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • .125 lbs Belgian Special B

    Belgian Special B

  • 1 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 1 oz Fuggle - 4.8 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    Fruitier and more flocculant than 1056, slightly nutty, soft, clean, slightly tart finish.

Notes

Mash at 154F. Boil 90 minutes. Ferment at 64F & raise to 72F by the end.

This brew smelled amazing during the brew session. Hit all my numbers nicely. Can't wait to try it! OG = 1.066
