Ingredients (All Grain, 10 gal)
- 10 lbs
American 6-row Pale
American 6-row Pale
Tends to increase lautering efficiency due to a stiffer husk. May be used as the base malt for any beer style. The enzymes in all varieties of the current crop are sufficient to support high percentages of specialty malts and adjuncts.

Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

Belgian Cara-Pils

Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

Generally a neutral flavor, used to reduce maltiness of beer. Produces beer with a milder, less malty flavor. Uses: Primarily for light Bohemian and Pilsner lagers.

This is the second batch this year. Our brewers guild wiped out my last batch. It is a classic example of a pre-prohibition pilsner.

Brewed this latest batch 10/24/09. OG 1.53,FG 1.008. This is a favorite with my brewer's guild. A five gallon keg never lasts for an entire meeting.

Did you use the corn sugar in the mash? And how long did you dry hop with those Mt. Hood?

Corn sugar is added in the last 5 minutes of the boil. Dry hopped for 2 weeks in secondary.
