Sheepshead Bitter Amber Ale
English IPA • Partial Mash • 5 gal
Not really an IPA, but that's as close a match as I could come up with. This was originally the RyePA42 but a couple of fortunate mistakes produced this Northwest-style, hoppy ale.

Notes
Originally an IPA, a couple of fortuitous mistakes created what I call a "bitter amber ale". This Northwest-style amber ale has all the makings of a hoppy india pale ale but without the dry-hopping. Great color, thick head, terrific nose, and INCREDIBLE flavor. If only *ALL* my screw-ups could turn out this well!
