Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 11 lbs Belgian Pils

    Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 1 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 2 lbs Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • .5 lbs Rice Syrup

    Rice Syrup

    Used like other rice adjuncts in American and Japenes lagers to provide a dry, clean taste and light body. Adds gravity without changing body or flavor substantially. Use in place of corn sugar in small quantities.

  • .5 oz East Kent Goldings - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • .5 oz Sterling - 5.3 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

I want to give this recipe a go, could you give me some of the vitals Mash temp and times ect. Thanks Andrew

As long as your grains are good and fresh a single step mash works fine at around 150-152F for an hour or so. The key is to make sure you get a good grind on your grains to reach the OG. Good luck!! DVD

I brewed this recipe with a couple of changes as I couldn't get the same grains in Aus. Won my brew club comp for this style. Thanks for the reipe
