Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 8 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 2.5 lbs Munich Malt

    Munich Malt

    Sweet, toasted flavor and aroma. For Oktoberfests and malty styles

  • 1.25 lbs Crystal Malt 40°L

    Crystal Malt 40°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 1.25 lbs Crystal Malt 80°L

    Crystal Malt 80°L

    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • .75 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • .25 lbs American Black Patent

    American Black Patent

    Provides color and sharp flavor in stouts and porters.

  • .5 oz Columbus - 12.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Columbus

    Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.

  • 0.50 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 30 min

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 1.00 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 5 min

  • White Labs WLP013 London Ale

    White Labs WLP013 London Ale

    Dry, malty ale yeast. Provides a complex, oakey ester character to your beer. Hop bitterness comes through well. This yeast is well suited for classic British pale ales, bitters, and stouts. Does not flocculate as much as WLP002 and WLP005.

good recipe

Hello I brewed this recipe and kegged it almost 2 months ago just tapped it the other day, and I have to recommend this one, will be putting up another batch real soon. good recipe
