Sweet Amber Ale

Sweet Amber Ale

American Amber Ale • All Grain • 4.5 gal

dsmalley

This is a simple American Amber Ale with Roasted Barley to give it a slightly different taste. I added 3/4 cup of corn sugar to see what a well carbonated amber ale would taste like.

Awesome

Turned out great. I put it in a party pig and the first beer was sweet! It had decent body with a foamy head because of the over carbonating. The taste was great. Very slight bitter from the roasted barley made this a great beer that will quickly disapear. I added the Willamette's for flavor and aroma. Worked out perfect. Wouldn't change a thing. Except to make sure I get 5 gallons next time.
