Tends to increase lautering efficiency due to a stiffer husk. May be used as the base malt for any beer style. The enzymes in all varieties of the current crop are sufficient to support high percentages of specialty malts and adjuncts.

Hallertau
Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

A dry fermenting, true top cropping yeast which produces a dry, slightly tart, crisp beer, in American hefeweisen style.
Notes
Mash at 150 for 60min. , Sparg at 150-160 for approx. 45min. into primary for 7-days at 75deg then into secondary for 7-days at 68deg. Primed with 8oz/1CUP of honey and 2 cups of water boiled for 15 min. Aged in bottles for two weeks.
