Czech It Out
Bohemian Pilsener • All Grain • 5 gal
One for the BMC fans. This was a very flavorful beer. I am a big fan of Sterling. I use them in my Belgian style beers too. I think they have just a little more spice to them that saaz.

Notes
If you can't get wyeast bohemian lager the bavarian or pilsen lager will do just fine. Saflager 23 will work well too if you don't want to use liquid. Single step mash- 152 for 60 min using 1.3qt per # of grain. Rinse the grains with the same ratio of water/grain @170 Ferment @ 45-54 for 2 weeks then 5 weeks @ 36- keg or bottle condition at least 2 more weeks at 36 in bottle or keg.

I modified this recipe on my latest batch and bypassed the carapils and added a little vienna (half a pound to be exact) I know this changed the style a little but man was this chit good!
