  • 5 lbs American Vienna

  • 0.5 lbs Wheat Raw

  • 0.5 lbs Oats Flaked

    Oats Flaked

    Belgian White Ale(wit), other specialty beers.

  • 0.25 lbs Candi Sugar Dark

    Candi Sugar Dark

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • 0.5 oz Galena - 11.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

Still a work in progress

The first batch came out well, if slightly thick so I am retooling this over the next couple of weeks. Creamy, dark like espresso and ganache with a low carbonation level this is great as is right now as a dessert beer. The retooling should help lighten t up into a nondessert beer.
