Galena - 13.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min
Galena
Neutral. This hop can be very bitter, but blends well with finishing hops. Used in American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. Aroma is medium but pleasant.

Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

It was surprisingly delicious

This was a very delicious beer, it was meant to be a tasting of just the base grain and hops, to see what other grains and adjuncts would later do to the taste. But on its own, it is a very tasty beer (almost a light beer taste...dreaded I know.) Perfect refreshing beer for that hot summer day, after sweating in the yard.
