Had a nice brew day. Wort tasted extremely rich and full of caramel. Pitched an enormous yeast starter, about 8 liters worth. Fermentation was noticeable by the next morning. Keeping this one a little on the cool side... about 48F. OG = 1.085 #67

This one is currently still lagering, but I had a taste of it recently. At this point it is a little sweet. The final gravity appears to be around 1.023 which is definitely a little higher than I had hoped for. I may end up tossing in an active starter of WLP833 with a little yeast nutrient to see if it can finish up. It has a great flavor, but the sweetness at the end is very distracting.
