The lime mingles well with the cascade. This is a great summer beer. Next time I'll probably decrease the victory malt for a lighter colored beer.

Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 8 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1 lbs American Victory

    American Victory

    Provides a deep golden to brown color. Use in nut brown ales, IPAs and Scottish ales.

  • 1 oz Willamette - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 30 min

    Willamette

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy

  • 1 oz Fuggle - 4.8 AA% whole; boiled 30 min

    Fuggle

    Mild. Mainly used for finishing and dry hopping especially pale ales, porters, and stouts. Aroma is mild and pleasant, spicy, and soft.

  • 2 oz Cascade - 5.5 AA% whole; boiled 0 min

    Cascade

    Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

Step Mash with 15min ramp from100 to 140 for 40min, 158 for 20min then mash out with 170. Also 1tsp anise seed at 0min
