Discussion
My 1st all-grain brew
2011-08-21 4:02pm
I was trying to reproduce Hoppin Frog B.O.R.I.S. The Crusher. It came out very close. My son visited last Christmas and introduced me to the stout. It aged and mellowed after 5 months. Sampled after 1 month and every month thereafter. Very smooth mouth feel with hints of chocolate. There were lots of other subtle flavors but I really am not a good judge of that aspect of brewing. I'm happy with how it turned out and so are the tasters and that's fine with me. Great for sitting and sipping. ABV 10.8. 4 bottles left of 49. All tasters loved it. Starting a new batch Sept.
