Wyeast 1968 London ESB Ale™
Highly flocculant top-fermenting strain with rich, malty character and balanced fruitiness. This strain is so flocculant that additional aeration and agitation is needed. An excellent strain for cask-conditioned ales.
Notes
Made ahead of the National Homebrew day since I can't make it. Brewed April 3, 2008. Hops are just what they had at the store, I couldn't match what they had at AHA. I'll add some hops on day 3 to the primary, then remaining Goldings to cask when I rack it. I'll rack this directly to a cask (corny keg at slight angle). I'm making this in honor of my friend Clark, who is retiring next month. Gonna miss you bro!
