MOBC summer lager

MOBC summer lager

Classic American Pilsner • All Grain • 6 gal

CarlosOjeda

Made for the Minnesota Outdoor Baseball Club. They'll be in Denver in May 2008. Like Minnesota, it's light in color, thick in body and refreshing. Like Twins baseball, it should leave a bit of a bitter aftertaste. The actual recipe has a mix of Czech Sladek and Czech Premiant hops. They're supposed to be Saaz substitutes. Just like the Twins, the best hops were supposed to be there, but were traded away (to NY), and substitutes had to be found.
