This is a great drinking beer that can be consume after a two week bottle fementation however further maturing up to 6 months will enhance character. Try using different amounts of crystal malt for different colours and flavours.

Ingredients (Extract22 L)

  • 0.11 kg Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • 3.29 kg Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Pale Liquid; Alexanders

    Reportedly lightest colored malt extract available.

  • 0.32 kg Corn Sugar

    Corn Sugar

    Use in priming beer or in extract recipes where flaked maize would be used in a mash.

  • 35 g Goldings - 5.0 AA% whole; boiled 60 min

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • 4 g Hallertau - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Good for all around bittering and finishing stock ales, Belgian ales, and continental style lagers. Aroma is mild, pleasant and flowery.

  • 4 g Pride of Ringwood - 8.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Moderate.

  • 8 g Hallertau - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min
