Russian Imperial Stout • All Grain • 5 gal

Paulthenurse

A Homebrewtalk.com group brew. Designed to have an OG of 1088, and 88 IBU's. Brewed near New Years and intended to be opened on 8/8/008. I brewed on 12/28. Racked into secondary 1/11 FG 1028. LOADS of body and flavor. I missed my mash temp, too hot at 156, should have cooled it more agressivley to get a bit more fermentable sugars. Not that it's not good. Going into the secondary it tastes GREAT, but it would be even better if a smidge lighter. PTN
