Notes

Very simple recipe, basically Ben's Lager-Ale but with chocolate malt. Very easy recipe for the beginning brewer and very easy to modify. I usually steep the grains for about an hour. This gives me time to clean everything before brewing. Also, you can use simple household measuring tools on the grain. ie. 8/16 ounces = 1/2 cup and a rolling pin works great for crushing the grains. Just make sure you put them in a plastic bag before crushing. Enjoy !!!
