Ingredients (All Grain, 5 gal)

Belgian Pale

Fully modified and is easily converted.

German Vienna

Increases malty flavor, provides balance. Use in Vienna, Märzen and Oktoberfest.

Belgian light crystal malt. Used in lighter Abbey or Trappist style ales.

Corn Flaked (Maize)
Corn Flaked (Maize)
Generally a neutral flavor, used to reduce maltiness of beer. Produces beer with a milder, less malty flavor. Uses: Primarily for light Bohemian and Pilsner lagers.

#10 11/07 - Turned out to be darker with coffee flavors, actually a very good beer, wish I knew what they gave me wrong at the HBS.

I am not sure what happened but this beer turned out much darker and when I taste it the flavors coming through are coffee. Did my homebrew shop give me the wron malt? I don't know, It should be good, but not what I was going for. FG is 1.010
