The biiterring and flavoring hops are Magnum,not Columbus. 15.1 alpha acid. Use step mash as per Papazian.Add Irish moss 30 minutes before the end of boil.Total boil time is 75 minutes.Mas temperature is 150-152 degrees.

  • 7.5 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • 1/2 lbs Dextrine Malt

    Dextrine Malt

    In light-colored beers to give additional body. Adds richness without color.

  • 1/2 lbs American Caramel 40°L

    American Caramel 40°L

    Provides color, a unique flavor, body, and contributes to foam retention and beer stability.

  • 1 lbs Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Corn Flaked (Maize)

    Generally a neutral flavor, used to reduce maltiness of beer. Produces beer with a milder, less malty flavor. Uses: Primarily for light Bohemian and Pilsner lagers.

  • 1/2 oz Columbus - 15.0 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.
