Ingredients (All Grain5.55 gal)

  • 10 lbs English 2-row Pale

    English 2-row Pale

    All English Ales. Workhorse of British Brewing. Infusion Mash.

  • 1.5 lbs Crystal Malt 60°L

    Crystal Malt 60°L

    Sweet caramel flavor, deep golden to red color. For dark amber and brown ales.

  • 0.25 lbs Belgian Cara-Pils

    Belgian Cara-Pils

    Significantly increases foam/head retention and body of the beer.

  • 0.15 lbs American Chocolate Malt

    American Chocolate Malt

    Use in all types to adjust color and add nutty, toasted flavor. Chocolate flavor.

  • 0.55 oz Northern Brewer - 9.9 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Northern Brewer

    Used for bittering with strong flavors and very fragrant in steam beers, dark English ales, and German lagers. Aroma is medium-strong with evergreen and mint overtones.

  • 0.55 oz Tettnanger - 4.5 AA% pellets; boiled 10 min

    Tettnanger

    Mild, slightly spicy. 'Noble'.

  • 5 tsp Cinnamon - (omitted from calculations)

  • Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale™

    Slight residual diacetyl and fruitiness; great for stouts. Clean, smooth, soft and full-bodied.

Notes

I used 3 sticks of cinnamon, boiled for 10 min and then in the primary.
