  • Wyeast 1968 London ESB Ale™

    Wyeast 1968 London ESB Ale™

Highly flocculant top-fermenting strain with rich, malty character and balanced fruitiness. This strain is so flocculant that additional aeration and agitation is needed. An excellent strain for cask-conditioned ales.

Notes

single infusion mash for 90 mins at 154F. Normally i use a batch sparge with 3 runnings. Here i will use only 2 runnings, collecting 3.75gallons each time. 1.33qts/lb mash water.
