Ingredients (All Grain5 gal)

  • 9 lbs American 2-row

    American 2-row

    Yields a slightly higher extract than Six Rox brewers Malt. Tends to give a smoother, less grainy flavored beer. Some brewers claim they can detect a significant difference in flavor. Lower protein and will yield a lower color than Six-Row Brewers Malt

  • .5 lbs Belgian Munich

    Belgian Munich

    Used to increase malt aroma and body with slightly more color.

  • .5 lbs Crystal Malt 80°L

    Crystal Malt 80°L

    Body and Richness. Distictive Nutty flavor and or sweet, smooth caramel flavor and a red to deep red color. For porters, old ales.

  • .25 lbs Belgian Caramunich

    Belgian Caramunich

    Caramel, full flavor, copper color. For Belgian ales, German smoked and bocks.

  • .4 oz Columbus - 13.9 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Columbus

    Used mainly for bittering with some flavor qualities as well. Aroma is pleasant.

  • .67 oz East Kent Goldings - 4.6 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    East Kent Goldings

    Mild, slightly flowery.

  • .33 oz Willamette - 5.4 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy

  • .67 oz Goldings - 3.5 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

    Goldings

    Mild. Slightly flowery.

  • .33 oz Willamette - 5.4 AA% pellets; boiled 2 min

    This hop is used for finishing and dry hopping American and British style ales. Aroma is mild and pleasant ans slightly spicy

  • Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Wyeast 3766 Cider

    Crisp dry fermenting yeast with big, fruity finish. Creates a nice balance for all types of apples, pears and other fruit or fermentables. Allows fruit character to dominate the profile.

Notes

Mash for 90 min at 150 degress.
